Ana Murillo Herrera, M.A., LPC-S

I’m a bilingual counselor that has worked in diverse settings since 2014 and became an LPC-S in 2021. I believe that reaching out for help is one of the essential steps in our change journey. I strive to help clients from a culturally sensitive perspective to help recognize and reinforce the strengths that can help them lead the life they want. I hope to empower my client using a person-centered grounded practice that uses different approaches to see the whole person and not just their issues.

I have experience working with depression, life transitions issues, grief, and the Latinx community. My approach is eclectic to be able to adjust to the needs of my client and stage in life. I approach therapy from an eclectic approach grounded in person-centered, strength-based, compassion, and CBT techniques.

I am also an LPC Supervisor and enjoy helping professionals build their experience in an ethical and exciting approach. If you are a professional trying to find a supervisor, you can find more information on my website.
