Ryan L. Foster, M.A., LPC

I work with people not diagnoses. First and foremost I want my clients to know that they are not on their own. I first began to study counseling psychology because I enjoy helping people. When a person comes into my office it is usually because they are in need of help. Through the use of various psychological techniques I strive to assist those who seek to find what they are looking for. I also offer HIPPA compliant video counseling for convenience.

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with an emphasis in grief studies. I received my Master of Arts degree in counseling from Amberton University. I have had five years of practice in a diverse range of areas.

I have hands-on experience with issues of grief, addiction, LGBT, family, and couples issues. I’m motivated by seeing clients change for the better. Each session is designed with the client’s needs in mind, with my approach being grounded in cognitive, family systems, existential, mindfulness, and narrative therapies.
