People seek out therapy for different reasons. Sometimes it’s because something feels off—like anxiety you can’t quite shake, a persistent sadness you’ve gotten used to, a relationship stuck in the same arguments, or a life change that’s left you feeling lost.
I work with adults, adolescents, and couples who feel caught in patterns that don’t serve them anymore. I’d describe my approach as warm, grounded, and collaborative. I don’t believe in
pushing you toward quick fixes or insights that feel manufactured. What I care about is helping you articulate what’s really going on, recognize the cycles you’re in, and build enough trust between us that meaningful change can happen—the kind that sticks around when life gets ordinary again.
When we work together, we’ll look at what’s going on under the surface: feelings you’ve been pushing aside, old coping mechanisms that made sense once but maybe don’t anymore, and the ways your past can shape your present unless you intentionally shift the pattern. I draw from
person-centered and relational approaches, and I bring in cultural awareness and spiritual perspectives.
I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Seminary of the Southwest. Before becoming a therapist, I spent many years in software development and financial analysis, and
several years as a stay-at-home parent—experiences that shaped how I listen for patterns, stay grounded in complexity, and respect the pace of growth and change.
