Murphy Huseman, M.A.
LPC-Associate Supervised by Dr Kayte Galloway LPC-S
I believe that every client should be treated as a person and, in doing so, I think it is important as a counselor to validate their thoughts and feelings. I wanted to become a counselor to give back to individuals through helping them process their experiences in order to find healing and growth. I strive to meet my clients needs when they come to me for help by customizing my technique and treatment plan around each individual client’s goals.
I graduated from West Texas A&M University with my Bachelors in Business Administration Management (2018) and Masters in Counseling (2023).
My passion is marriage counseling. Additionally, I have experience with individuals who struggle with grief, trauma, anxiety, depression, life changes, coping skills, and LGBTQ community. My purpose is to meet my client’s needs and goals by tracking their progress throughout our treatment plan and adjust as needed. My techniques range from person-centered, Gestalt, REBT, mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and others.
