Jaymee Valadez

LPC-Associate Supervised by Brook Bonnema LPCS

My approach to counseling is individualized, recognizing that every client has unique needs and experiences. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space for introspection and growth that is specifically tailored to meet each individual client’s needs.

I incorporate a variety of therapeutic techniques to support healing and personal growth which is developed through collaboration with clients. I believe that each client has specific needs based on their individual goals and experiences. This includes exploring attachment patterns to foster self-acceptance and compassion for individual interested in exploring attachment, as well as utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based Approaches. EMDR therapy will be available starting February 2025.

I hold an M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Our Lady of the Lake University. Currently, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, under the supervision of Brooke Bonnema, LPCS. My areas of specialization include ADHD (and supporting parents of children with ADHD), anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress management, and trauma.

In a world that often feels overwhelming, I offer a compassionate environment where you can focus on yourself, cultivate resilience, and enhance self-awareness. Our time together is not just another task, but a space for personal reflection and healing. Together, we will work toward your growth and well-being, helping you find balance and achieve positive change.
